A Charlie Brown Tree (or worse)

Immediately after cutting two feet off the bottom we could tell the bottom was the best part of the tree, but due to size we had no other option. We really didn't know how bad it was until it was sitting in the living room. Toph promises me it looked better covered with snow!

I was in hopes that some lights and decorations would work wonders. Much to my sadness the limbs are so sparse that the ribbon had nowhere to sit and they are also so weak most of our ornaments fell right off. As you can see this is the best we could do!

That is funny! The kids sure look happy with the tree. If it looked better with snow, maybe you should have it flocked. :) I think it is a cute tree.

My tree doesn't look so hot with Mya constantly rearranging everything within her reach. She is all about the "hands on" approach right now. I decided not to put out the nativity this year because I'm pretty sure it would be in a million pieces right now.

So, are you getting a bunch of snow? You'll have to post a picture. I'm excited for a White Christmas. I just wish it didn't have to be so cold.

Kristen!! That is so funny. I was laughing so hard as I read that because I can just picture your face the second you saw the tree. What a fun memory. We missed you at Teri's the other night. Every picture we took Teri made sure she was in for you.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas. I love ya!!

I have to laugh. I didn't scroll down to see the snow pictures and the story about the tree experience. I saw the picture of the Christmas tree and thought that was your latest picture. Sorry, I guess you posted the picture of all the new snow. Next time I'll look better.

You are right, that is a terrible tree! But I love it more than a big, full, beautiful one. I still think you should wrap ribbon around it even if it is just around the trunk!

That is the most hideously beautiful tree I have ever seen!! We have had a couple like that over the years. I will give Toph credit, it really probably did look better covered in snow!!! It really does look like your kids are happy! Ava was telling me about the tree today!
